But on this day, at this time, this is the cutest little guy ever :)
Wouldn’t you agree??
of a sewing Grandmother
Avery’s in kindergarten!! Last Thursday evening was “Meet the Teacher” night and then Friday was her first day – just half a day. This week it’s full speed ahead from 8-3 every day. Word on the street has it that she is loving every minute of it. She sure is growing up fast.
According to the parents Michael talked to Mrs. Smith is the best kindergarten teacher around so needless to say we are expecting great things from our Avery Rose this year.
…. and still buried in boxes. I’ll be having a huge garage sale once I get finished going through all this stuff. Brian got all the rest of my stuff out of storage and to the house today. Thanks Brian. You are the best. Michael was scheduled to help but he was babysitting the three older girls –Thanks Mike – I know Jen appreciated the break- while Jen and I went to a couple of salvage places with Rob. I found some laminate flooring – Pergo--- for half of what Home Depot was asking for some very similar. When we got back, Michael rode down here with me and then helped Brian put some stuff in the backyard and a chair in the playroom and helped him load a chest of drawers and a small table that he is going to use in his apartment. And off they went.
I’m having a problem with my pond. It has gone from this (notice how high the water level is)
to this and I’m not sure why.
I know it isn’t just evaporation because of this. Water seeping from between the rocks on the upper level of the pond.
Someone is coming to look at it Monday and give me instructions on how to take care of the thing. I just hope it’s not something major.
Brian has a couple of vacation days he must use between now and the end of the month so we are going to see the TX Neals via an overnight stop in MS to visit G’ma and others and then when we come home we will try to find a straighter route from TX Neals to NashVegas Neals/Ensors. Hopefully something better than Interstate 40 all the way if you know what I mean.
Back to the boxes.

I can not even imagine what it would be like living in a mess like this but if you call me in a few days, I’ll let you know!!
My boys are the best. Michael, Brian, Matty, his friend from work – Jim and Rob worked their hearts out this afternoon and evening and got almost (there’s probably enough left to fill 2 pickups) all my junk belongings into the house. Now I can sort through all the stuff and decide what I want to keep and then have a huge garage sale and make enough to take the whole family on a vacation to a quiet mountain retreat out to eat at our favorite fast food place. But all that is for another day – I’m exhausted and I’m going to bed. Please don’t call me til after noon.
This moving is about to get to me:) I’m in the house – been sleeping on an air mattress – not bad but not great either:) There are lots of changes in store for my new place – paint, flooring, appliances and who knows what else I’ll do as time goes by. I’ll be chronicling it all here along with all my sewing I have to catch up on. I can’t wait to share the changes – hopefully I’ll get it started soon.
