emptying another project basket

I sewed the binding on the "Twister" table runner I made a while back -- I quilted it while I was at the condo with Beth.  All I have left on that is the handwork.

My other project this week is finishing the Scrappy Nine Patch quilt top and adding enough borders to turn it from a throw into a queen size quilt. I think it is going to be really pretty.  I have one border to go and then I'll be ready to sandwich it.  I think I know how I'm going to quilt it. I don't have the batting or the backing yet for the quilt so it will probably be next week sometime before I get to the quilting.

farmer's wife blocks

I've made a couple more blocks from the Farmer's Wife Sampler book.  I don't remember the name of this first block.

This block is called "Bowtie".  Can you see it??

signed, sealed, delivered

I finished the family tree project -- partly while on my trip and then what was left as soon as I returned.  It's been mailed and should have been delivered today.

Don't know why the picture changed orientation when I uploaded it.

I think my favorite part was letting some of the leaves overlap onto the border.  Anyway, it's done and I'm on to some other UFO's.
